Never say no to MO: MO, you will regret!!

If you go to Nepal and specially to the valley and its surrounding, you are sure to see temples and a MO:MO corner every few steps! It is a signature dish for all Nepalese every where. (Please do not mistake MO:MO with Chinese dumplings coz they are not. Chinese dumplings are tasty, I agree! But MO:MO are crazily delicious- Hands down!!!)

Make MO:MO with vegetables, chicken, pork, buff, beef or goat they are all delicious. You will need a side of MO:MO ko achar i.e THE SAUCE which is a must!!! But go ahead with soy sauce and chilli flakes if you want to!

For the love of MO: MO:

(This is a chicken MO:MO recipe, it is pretty much similar with all the other non-vegetarian one.)

You will need:

MO:MO Pastry Sheet (easily available in any Asian grocery store)

Or Just knead a regular Plain Flour and make thin little bases.

Steamer to cook them.

500 grams: Minced Chicken

3 Shallots: Finely chopped

3 stems Spring Onion: finely chopped(don't worry about throwing about the ends, I put them all)

1tbsp Ginger

1tbsp Garlic(optional)

salt to taste (milder one is better, THE SAUCE will do the rest)

Choices of vegetables like cabbage or mushrooms are optional.

Mix all the ingredients together.

Spray your steamer with oil, place MO:MO with a little gap in the middle so that they don't stick.

Bring water to boil in the base of the steamer, and place the

steamer on the top cover with the lid. Wait 12/15 min and then...........

HERE YOU GO....MO:MO!!! Top it with your favourite kind of sauce. (I Suggest the typical Nepali tomato Sauce).
